I'm not so sure it is the "look" that is important. Sure the skiing "looks" cool, but the most important part about it is that it WORKS. It isn't about aiming at some aesthetically pleasing target like in some schools of thought, but rather about function, efficiency, and correct movement based on how the human body works. I agree that PMTS "looks" great when done well, but the beauty behind it is not necessarily the aesthetics. IMO anyway.
