upside down?

Postby ryno » Fri Feb 10, 2006 8:50 am

i'm sure it's on the forum and probably in the books but can someone PLEASE explain to me, in as instructive detail as possible, all this "upside down" stuff. i've been hearing it lately, am sure i've seen it, but what the hell is it?

thank you.

Upside down and High C refer to the same thing. If you make a turn such that the bases are pointing up the hill you are "upside down" and carving the high C portion of the turn. Basically its getting on your edges much earlier than is typical.

Yes, thanks for asking that one ryno I have been wondering what the hell it meant.

It's why HH's skiing looks so smooth.
