Binding for Head Supershape.

Postby slaygreg » Mon Jan 09, 2006 5:44 am

Hej,

I know that Head suggest to put there Tyrolia Free Flex 11 or 14 binding.

But does it make any sense to put there Tyrolia SLD 11 RailFlex from 03/04 model ( it can be applied to standard CP 13). What I would achive ?I could have higher lifter ( for radical low carving) and Full Diagonal Heal then on FF 11.

Any advise ?

forgive my english, I'm from Eastern Europe :-).

I put the free flex 17 on mine, what they recommend. I like it because the binding looks good on the ski.

well, it's not about a colour it about heel lift.
SLD 11 gives me 1 cm more then FF 11 plus.

Are you sure you can use the rf11 on the CP13

slaygreg:

I looked at trying to use a pair of Railflex 11 bindings on my i.SL chips with the CP plate. I couldn't see that it would work, so might be worth double checking. The toe and heel pieces looked similar, but the plates they were mounted on (that would scren to the CP 13) looked a lot different.

Or maybe I mis-understand and you are planning on taking off the CP13 carve plate and just installing the rail flex and rail.

I assume you mean 1mm in heel height and not 1 cm. 1 cm of difference would be a lot.

Hi Jim,

no, I would stay with CP13, this binding I have is from 03/04 catalog, and it does not require rail in ski.

this SLD 11 Railflex is simply 1 cm higher in heel and toe than FF 11

Thanks, today I'm going to ski service - they should give me advise!

Cheers,
