Thoughts of Head Vector Evo 110/120?

Postby Halmin » Mon Jan 25, 2016 5:26 am

Hello,

This is my second year of skiing pmts with no skiing experience proper.. I'm comfortable on eastern greens but still not proficient in my technique to ski down blues with control all the time here in Ontario Canada.

I'm 40's, 5'7", 140 lbs, presently on Atomic hawk 80, which I find accentuates my knock kneed position. I have been skiing rev 80 pro in 163cm, which has a 79mm width and 12m turn radius.

I was looking for a stiffer boot and liked the fit of the head vector Evo 110 from this year. Would I gain much going to this boot at my level. My local ski shop carries the Evo 120.

Ideally I would like to visit harbs ski shop / camp in a couple of years. Unfortunately no pmts certified boot fitters up here from my research.

Thanks in advance for your advice!

The evo has a last of 100 which is pretty wide... did you measure your feet?
Also I would get a boot with a higher flex, a soft will hold you back a lot (made the experience myself)

I'm presently fitting in a mondo 26.5 boot. My foot width is 104 mm.
