Loveland & A-Basin 4/20-4/24

Postby HeluvaSkier » Tue Apr 05, 2011 7:56 pm

Hey everyone, I haven't publicized this yet, but since my trip is getting closer, I'm going to be skiing at Loveland and A-Basin the 20th through the 24th. I don't have an exact schedule of where I'll be or when nailed down, but anyone who is in the area and available to make some turns those days, let me know if you're interested and I will let you know where I'll be and when so we can set something up formally (either post or send a PM). The plan is to get a group of [local] PMTS skiers together to make some turns for a few days... Hopefully it will be one you won't want to miss. 8)
Cheers!

My wife, Lauri, and i will be skiing on at least one of those days. We don't ski for long and stay on blue runs, mostly because of our surgically implanted hardware. But we have fun none the less.

Absolutely, sounds great. If you believe what you read on EpicSki I only ski blue groomers too, so you'll be fine. I have received several PMs so it sounds like we will have a really great group. I'll get in touch with the details soon.

Oops. I was just informed that we can only ski the 23rd or the 24th. BTW I don't pay too much attention to what is posted on Epic.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to update the thread with the skiing plans for each day that I'll be in the area.

Thursday: Loveland; arriving ~8:30AM
Friday: A-Basin; arriving ~8:30AM
Saturday: Loveland; arriving ~8:00AM
Sunday: A-Basin; arriving ~8:00AM

I will send a little more info out via PM to those who have said they were interested. It looks like we may have a group as big as 11 on some days.

Cheers,

Greg

There isn't as much video or pictures as there may have been normally... we've had too much snow! We will get some of the limited footage up within a few days.

As a side note, since I'm going into my last day here in Colorado, I'd like to thank everyone who came out to ski. It was great to meet share the mountain with everyone - something that I hope to do again in the near future.

We do have some still pictures that are decent, I'll get them up soon.

Here is my best shot from the trip. Heluva has a lot of video and I have pictures of him and highangles that I will add once they are processed.
