My wife and I reside 2 hours from Toronto, and occasionally have skied in the general region: Mt. St. Louis, Snow Valley, etc., but nothing that could be described as regularly. Most often, we head to Brimacombe (Oshawa), which is only 1 1/2 hours away.

Of course, we are only rank beginners at PMTS, reading the book, and doing the basic exercises, so likely not what you are after for a "ski buddy".

Christian, we were at Le Massif for 4 days back in January. Had we known about you, we could have tried to hook up.

Lots of Ontario folks are at my mountain... 50% of our membership is Canadian. Holimont...

Hi there,

That's too bad I came across with your msg too late.
I love PMTS, value it a lot and practice it as much as I can.
I live in Toronto and ski 2-3 times a week @ the Blue mostly, Wednesdays with the Snowhawks.
Finding a good ski buddy is an issue always.
If you feeling like skiing any day of the week, pls drop me a line

I am at Mt St Louis, coaching pretty much every weekend. Might be at Blue some fridays and week nights as well, not coaching and thus free skiing...

You talked about coaching. Are you a PMTS green or blue level ski instructor?

Razie,

I ski at MSLM during weekends, although this winter it will be a bit harder to get up there every weekend. I wear a dark grey Descente ski suit (with some red accents) and usually ski on black Salomon Enduro or green Élan SL Race ski. Don't hesitate to say hi if you see somebody who fits the description.

Which team do you coach?

Sure will. Usually wear an orange jacket and whatever pants and whichever skis i like n the morning :) ( usually my head gs rd early mornings before the kids show up and head sl rd rest of day but i have some atomics and some fischers too)

i think there s only one other coach with an orange jacket, so easy to spot :)

I coach U14 this year, over at the moonstone base generally, for the glacier ski club.

See you up there!

I am sorry - got dragged into inspecting a course and then looked for you but didn't see you anymore.

Next time we'll catch up and get a few runs in. I can usually ski at lunch break 11:30-12:30 and after 2:30

Good meeting you as we'll.
