2011 Blizzard ski?? thoughts?

Looking for replacement to Head SS or Icon since neither is available. Is the skinny waisted Blizzard even compare? My local
dealer has one pair of the 68mm waisted Blizzard and practically giving them away.
Anyone with any thoughts?
Skied the SS through Haralds shop last year when I had my boots done and it was my best ski day ever. Just can't find the SS or Icon.

Almost. They no longer have the length I want.
In any event, quality replacements might be the blizzard or I saw mention of Kastle Rx Sl

They have the new SS at http://www.snowinn.com in all sizes for $651.88 plus ship, and at http://www.edgeandwax.com.uk they have the Icon TT 80. I have also seen the old SS at several sites, you just have to search hard. Also, check out Elan skis...theircarvers are excellent and not too pricey. Some good replacements for SS and TT.

I think you helped fit my boots last year. I love them. Great fit.
I am thinking that the KERS might be too much for me and I lost an opportunity to
get some 09 SS skis earlier this Fall. I will keep looking around.

Hi Joe,

Yes, that was me. I'm glad they are serving you well!
The new SS, I decided, was a little too much for me at this point, so I went with the Icons. They are less demanding for sure.

Also, I spoke to Chris yesterday at the shop and he said they do have just a few Icons left...if you call him immediately.....maybe you can get a pair if you have anymore trouble finding them.
