BONGO BOARDS

Postby CB » Wed Jun 21, 2006 11:51 pm

Hi, This is my first posting and I must say that I have really enjoyed this forum. I just turned 50 last winter, have skied my whole adult life, but
only have gotten 12-15 days in the last few seasons. So, conditioning has
become very important. After reading a post by Max on balancing, I ordered a 16" wobble board recently and am very pleased that I did. (also got HH's book "Ski Flex") Max, keep posting because I think there
are a lot of us out here, that share your goal of increasing the angles in our skiing.

My question is: To those of you that have a Bongo Board, what do you think of them, How do they compare to Wobble Boards ?? I would like to hear some comments as I am thinking of buying one also.

PS: Since I got such a good deal on my wobble board, about $18 inc. shipping, I would like to give the link. At that price everybody who reads
this site should have one. http://www.karatedepot.com/st-wb-06.html

When I got my bongo board a few years ago I used it alot (as did the kids). It definitely helped with my balance and independant foot movement. I haven't used it all winter but I'll probably take it out for the summer.
