Thanks, John, The race hill stays amazingly hard snow.

It's winter another 70cm of snow tonight.

I can tell you it's not easy I'm working hard, the surface has a crust with hard snowballs under the skis. It is west wall steep like A-Basin, but video flattens everything.

Great example of high performance BPSTs skied in a narrow corridor. Notice how Harald's speed is relatively consistent from one turn to the next, that's what we mean by speed control.
Obviously a skier needs all of the Essentials working to make these look easy.

Back when mastering the BPST was my main focus HH had me ski a corridor like this on a green slope. When I could make a full run without blowing out of the corridor we moved to a blue slope. When I could do that we moved to a black slope and so on. It takes a lot of dedicated practice but the result is well worth the effort.

Thanks Max, I've been dialing in my boot set up all season. Now the last few days I've been able to get it really close. Even today I made more progress. The new boots are so critical to get right because they are so narrow around the ankle and cuff. I used to be able to just step in a pair of Head 150 flex; cant the left 1.5 degrees, never touched the cuff. Now everything is more precise, even the way the skis are tuned. Had some bad tunes early in the season which throw my canting and cuff set up way off. I was setting for the skis and didn't know it. To get things back working was a real chore. Finally, I'm back to feeling right. Running slalom the last few days really helped.

Such an impressive clip, this type of skiing is so much more difficult than high speed edge-locked carving.
