So the forecast was for snow Thursday night. I got up early and checked, 7" reported. I didn't get a very early start, but it's the last week and Snowmass has been more empty than I've seen in three seasons.
There was just about no one there at 9am. Most folks were headed up High Alpine, just as I planned, but I couldn't resist the snow under Alpine Springs. Later in the day this turned into spring glop but right then it was perfect.
Sunday calls for corn and the last runs of the year.
