Right now Hartskis.com has the Striker and the Pulse listed on closeout for $299. Pulse they say they have in 170/180, Striker 158/164/170. Just Sayin'.

Good luck getting a response from them when you want to order something. I tried to order over $1,000 worth of skis a few months ago and my pleas (via phone, text, and email) to pay them went unanswered. If anyone is able to order from them, please tell me how.

I was able to get in touch with Julie today and placed an order, phone (from website) 952-250-5940. She said she'll ship them out tomorrow, I'm keeping my fingers crossed but so far so good. $299 for the ski, $23 S&H.

Not sure if you knew but the Salomon bindings have only 2mm of ramp. Since you like a lot of ramp, that may be a factor. Quite a difference between PRX which have a massive 9.5mm in the most recent years.

I'm interested in the Blossom White Out. 6 ft 3" 200 and ski everything from Head i speeds in 177 and 184,pre rocker Mantras in a 184,to full on race skis in the appropriate lengths. Rather than bore everyone with a non video description of my skiing, I normally gravitate to longer length skis. I coach a high school race team and part time instruct in NH and these would used mainly for free skiing and instructing. Based on this meager info would the 182 or 176 be more suitable. I would anticipate using these in bumps a bit and I guess that would make the 176 a better choice. I'm looking for the most fun, not the most challenge.
Appreciate any thoughts from those who have skied this ski. One final question, would you mount on them on center or have any bias? Thanks.

Most fun in bumps for sure will be the 176 length. I am 6 3" 190 and I find that skis at 170cm are best in bumps for me (with a tight TR). I have been skiing the 176 Blossoms right on the line and they ski great there. I have not played around with the mount at all so I can't tell what you what up 1 to 1.5cm feels like. One can make the case to throw either PRD's or PRXs on them so you an play around with the mount point all you want.

Jbotti, do you know if the ski has changed in the past few years or is pretty much the same as the 2012/13 ski?

I think it is unchanged but I don't know for sure. Heluva may know.

My Hart Strikers (otherwise known as Blossom Whiteout's) arrived Monday and they are fabulous. It's amazing how much more fabulous they are for $299.

How was the tune out of the box or did you have them worked on? What bindings do you put on?

Haven't gotten that far yet. It's still raining around here and I got them for trips out west.

I am looking for a trustworthy shop to tune in the mid-atlantic, so far no luck. Everyone here just tunes to 0/0 (which I found out the hard way).

Does anybody know of a source stateside to purchase the White Out? I have one in the works with a Canadian shop, but it looks like the deal is falling apart.

Thanks!

The Striker I got from Hartskis.com is supposed to be the Whiteout. I crossed referenced this a few places and got multiple confirmations that it is supposed to be the same as the current model.
