Generally when its great D versus prolific Offense in the SB, the great D always wins. Add to hat the fact that the Meadowlands has always been a very tough place to throw the football due to the winds and you come up with another reason to favor Seattle.
But, they have changed the game so much to make sure that offense and scoring is rewarded so I'm not so sure that past history is necessarily a great guide here. Add to that the fact that Manning is the greatest offensive mind perhaps in the history of the game and that no one can exploit tendencies of a defense the way he does, and he has had 2 weeks to look at film all makes you want to pick Denver.
To me the game comes down to only one thing. Can Denver protect Manning? Peyton's record in games where he gets sacked more than twice is 16-19. If Seattle can get to him, they should win. If Denver can protect him, he will pick them apart.
Should be a great football game, but I'd rather be skiing!!
Balance: Essential in skiing and in life!
