Will we get video?

Speaking of video.

Heluva, will you publish a 2011 skiing summary like you did in previous years? I enjoyed watching your progression.

I'm not sure. I had mixed emotions about putting another year's worth of footage out last spring because so many people like to take shots at my skiing or use what I provide to elevate themselves (whether it be their skiing ability, their assumed technical knowledge, or whatever) on the internet - just because I'm a PMTS guy. I get tired of it. I may put something together - or if I get really good footage I may do something for 2012 and combine the two seasons.

I guess you have to expect that since you are just an intermediate level skier.

Heluva, what you don't understand is that any of the guys over on "the other site" can put their hip 1/4" from the snow while skiing 27M+ GS skis on rock solid blue groomers...oh wait...

Yeah, like this guy... accept he's doing it on a black groomer...

When the guy in the photo learns to put his hip 1/4" from the snow without using the steeper black pitch as a crutch and develops a more square, upright, and less contorted athletic stance, he'll be ready to learn from the other site. If he mastered the foot squirt and foragonal projection, he might even ski like the ESA gurus. I can't say for sure because I don't know what his intent was in making the sample turn ... was it an offensive or defensive turn?

Probably offensive to some I'd guess... and puts many on the defensive.

Thanks for the chuckle Toddw.

Now, my brain hurts... foragonal projection? That's a keeper!

All the skier really needs to do is turn his feet, and he won't be in such a dangerous and contrived position. Heck he's just riding the sidecut. If he did turn the feet, he'll be way more upright, and ready to turn the other way at any time! Remember commitment to the turn is devil's work.

Really Nice skiing in that shot. Wish it was me.

It is impossible for me to travel anywhere but Collingwood On. throughout the ski season. With two racer kids and *much* time off during the week, all of my time is theirs.

Thanks anyway.
