Korean Skiers... what do you think>

This was just posted over at YouTube so I grabbed it. These guys have some "flex" going on. Also, check out the hands/arms...pole tap!

The "lead" guy is significantly more skilled than the other two. The others aren't bad, but if I had to pick one to ski like...

Does anyone notice that we don't see anything like this (or like the offerings from Japan) out of North America?

I agree with your choice of the lead guy. And, while I can't put my finger on it... there's a little weirdness in some of these turns (I suck at MA). But, overall, I think these guys rock.

Exactly! I never see this type or level of skiing at my local mountain.

You're a bit Fulluvit with this statement Heluva.

That is all fantastic and beautiful to watch skiing in my humble opinion.

I am impressed with their skiing. Sure we could always nit-pick here and there, but in general terms, IMPRESSIVE!

I'm going with Heluva on this one-it'd be impressive skiing to see at an average day at a resort, and all three of these guys are 'strong' skiers, no doubt--but, as far as a video to check out-it's only alright. In the two short bump and slightly bumped terrain segments their technique dropped a few notches (which explains why these segments were short and infrequent, I think).

And hey, what's stopping all the North Americans on this website from putting out a similar video? Better to light a candle than curse the darkness (besides, doesn't Harald's videos count as North American? Jeez He can represent USA and Canada!).

I am going to take a stab at this.

I agree with Art, lots that is good, but something is "off".
The lead skier seems to have a bit of a heel push on his left turn. (skiers left)
And his knee is sometimes appears to be angulated in at times.
I am guessing it his alignment, it needs work.

Looking at this again, there are moments when the tipping emphasis is on the BTE. It makes them look a bit 'A' framed at times. There were some phantom moves, and some really good BPSRT, but all in all the skiing could be radically improved with renewed emphasis on tipping to LTE.
