The one legged squat with the other leg straightened and extended forward requires lots of dorsiflexion and reasonably flexiible calves. I am on the edge and some days don't really have enough flexibility to do this. I generally do them with a bent leg with my ankle and calf behind me. I find this to be much less challenging on the dorsiflexion and calf flexibility. You can still get a great work out doing it this way and again going to the bosu ball takes it up several notches.

OK while you guys were deducing the merits of scantily clad women doing exercises, not to many can do, I played tennis for two hours running the whole time and had a blast. Thanks to Gary, our friendly effective dentist and who has a mean backhand.

Ok I've been slaking putting up my workouts, thought you guys were bored with this stuff. But here are last week's workouts, three straight days climbing and hiking 5 hours minimum per day. Climbing at least 5 pitches each day. This week: weight room, squats and power jumps, some upper body and three sessions on the climbing wall. I don't consider this as hard as I was doing this fall or summer, but I also don't want to go into the season maxed out.

I'm down to 145 pounds, so I don't want to lose weight any more. I'd like to be 147 for the winter.

Gosh Max, thanks... I guess. Love your bounces, though this one just points out how little I do to stay in shape compared to HH!

I mowed the grass today, does that count?

I'm a big fan of the Slackrack 300 and use one daily.
