This is such an important movie for the most imnportant door to all mountain skiing.
There are lots of people wo can do GS sized park and ride turns who have avoided learning connected slow, two-footed release turns. No wonder they can only ski groomers and never have speed control!
Put this movie on your i-pod or phone an take it to the mountain with you!
I think the most difficult thing for many people is the act of wiggling (untippping-tipping) their feet to forward side slip in. Without doing any other movement - no twisting, stemming, etc. It seems weird, but to seemingly step backwards and work on being able to efficiently release and forward side slip into the turn, but this is the key!
DON'T SKIP THIS SKILL! Do it until you can easily link turns. OH MY GOD, THIS IS GOOD!
Great job Harald. The editing is good also, but WHAT you are teaching and how well you demonstrate this is ...
well all I can say is that we all (no matter what level we think we are at) need study this well.
