Harald is a great skier from a technical point of view. I've skied with great skiers, I watch the instructors at Vail/Beav. I've yet to see anyone, who makes a better turn than HH. Is he the best? Well, HH is 53 now. I'd say for his age, well, let me put it this way. I hope I ski that well, "...when I'm 55."
Yes, I want to ski like HH. His ideas about turns, are, where it's at for me. The whole idea of parallel shins and equal edge angles, it's what I think about, all the time. HH's all mountain emphasis really works for me, too. I want to ski it all, his training is focused on same.
Regarding skier_j's comments, misinformation is the norm about PMTS. Everyone thinks it's all about boot locked, because that's what those weasels on gapic say. They have no idea about what it's all about and that's a shame, because I've seen a few of them ski. Some of them over there, are downright lost, about ski technique.
But saving the weasels is a lost cause -- I'll take that time to work on my own turns. That being the case, I'll make turns with anyone, who shows up at the Big Show. Come on, come all.
In other words, "Shut the F up and ski".
