At last the day is here

Postby gaku » Fri Feb 21, 2020 10:50 am

So, finally the day is here. 1 and a half season lost. Almost 9 months since surgery. Almost 2 years without skis on my feet, boots strapped to my shins. 650 days.

A time through tears, anger, and bucket loads of doubts.

Whatever.

On Sunday, I'll feel snow under my feet again. :D I"ll be spotted in the kid's area doing safe PMTS drills. Donning a giant smile.

Good luck!!
As someone who is nearly 70, I, and most of my friends, have lost days, weeks and seasons at different times.
I was so disappointed when an achilles tendon injury prevented me joining HH when he was in New Zealand.

I feel for you guys, having had 9 major surgeries myself, I know that rehab and constant training is super important for longevity and activity.
