Does anyone know anything about Greg? A friend who runs the race team for the ski club was trying to people to take the clinic with him. He described
Greg Gurshman as former Russian Head Coach, Canadian Women’s head Coach and US Ski Team coach. I took a quick look at his skiing and did not think the clinic was worth the $500.00.

I've got a question on this relating to my own career experience. Before I retired I designed computer hardware for a living. Now there were a lot of skills required for this job that weren't directly related to the design of hardware. Ski coaching at the highest level must involve a lot of other skills as well. I am not questioning Mr. Grushman's credentials yet clearly skiing at a high level isn't one of them. What might these related skills be?

A fellow skier who now has taken Greg Grushman two clinics skis worst than before. The most funny thing to watch is his two arms move like he is doing a breast stroke swimming, I assume he is thinking he is hitting gates, but the movements are rotating his upper body.

I see skiers doing this now and then, mostly all look foolish. I assume that's what happens to any skier who attempts to learn cross-blocking before mastering skiing fundamentals. If a coach led the skier there, shame on the coach.
