At the recent tech camp Rich and Harald coached us to settle the hips inside by keeping the inside ski on the snow and continuing to shorten the inside leg. In the bumps it was mentioned that we would not be able to settle the hips. What is the correct position of the hips in the bumps? We are now getting so much snow that even the groomers are bumped up before noon. I have been trying to lift the inside ski off the snow which gets the hips inside but they don't really settle. Does any one have any drills, check points or feelings they could pass on?
