Knees and arthritis

Postby Dave T » Tue Sep 01, 2009 1:13 pm

Question for Harald

I have continual suffered from mild arthritis in my knee joints. I know from reading your previous posts that you have tried many different 'aids' to help your knee.
In 2004 you were discussing that the time release cortisone shot was helping through the whole ski season. I believe you have tried Syn-Visc before.

Can you please provide a update on your ability to keep your knees under control and what you have found to be the most effective.

Hi Dave Sorry I just saw your question. You can PM me in the future to get a quicker response.

I've used the time release cortisone about 10 times and had good success. It definitely takes the edge off. I had a bad experience last time out. My knee swelled up and I had lots of pain. So I don't know what will happen in the future.
