Don, thanks for the pix and thanks again for your hospitality last year at A Basin. My posse, Eric and Janet from North Carolina, Colin and Sharon from Australia, maybe Bill from Philadelphia, and I will be wandering around Summit and Eagle County next week. Let us know if you want to hook up. We always welcome a Colorado host.

Randy, my buddy Don that you met at camp last year is going to be in Summit Cnty for the next two weeks if you want to hook up with him. I was going to give Paulie a shout to see if he was interested, maybe he and DonDenver can get together with him. That's a nice posse you've got going there, sorry I can't make it, I'll be in Florida for the next couple of weeks. Please say hello to everyone for me, maybe we can hook up later in the season.
Take care, and have fun,
Mac

Mac, all they talk about is that powder day at sol Vista and the next day at Winter Park. I don't expect anything that amazing this year. Send me Don's number and I'll try to call him.

See you soon.

Thinking back I recall our gathering on 4/26/08. Some strange lighting that morning and some fine snow blowing made for a couple of marginal shots…but can you attach the name to the skier? Need a clear day and a better camera for this season :)

I think I vaguely remember some of those pictures. Just another ho hum ski trip. The second one from the bottom is me trying to find my oxygen tank so I could make it down.

Everyone should aspire to bring the same kind of quality posts to the forums as DonD does. That's what the spirit of these forums should be all about.
Have had my eye on Wa a couple of times, but the ice storm screwed that up. I've been skiing fairly regularly in Vt; Sugarbush, Okemo, Stratton, and one day at Sunapee. I'll be back from Florida on the 16th, and by then I'll be in desperate need of a quick fix, so Wa might be a real possibility till I can get up north again. I know that is Martin Luther weekend, I might be afraid of the crowds, but night skiing later in the week is an option. Let me know when you're going to be there, and we'll get together.

I got no ski cred at the moment, one day on the hill....tho I ski'd pretty good that one day I think. I will be doing some wa and a trip up north with the bear posse is a possib soon....good group no attitudes you'd like it.

Also hoping for a hook up with my son(the one in Phoenix) at Alta or Solitude.....

MLK bday I have off....a 740 first chair up that day at wa is likely.

We'll get it done this year.....I am also 2 mins from YV if you ever wanna lap the steep at the goo, tho paying to ski there vs the years of free skiing is quite painful.

Let me know if MLK Monday is a definite. If it is, I may just decide to join you. My pass for Okemo, Stratton and Sunapee is blacked out anyway, so Wa is a good option. I'm leaving for Florida tomorrow morning, my access to a computer is limited, but let me know when your plan comes together, and I'll get back to you.
