are there Instructions for using this software?

Are there instructions somewhere for using this software? Or is it trial and error?
I'm going to do some trial and error here and see if this works. I am trying to imbed some photos into what I'm entering.

Okay the pictures do not come up. I cant figure it out.
How do you imbed pictures into this software?
