Green/Blue Camp - Final Details & Daily Schedule

Postby Diana Rogers » Mon Nov 23, 2015 7:57 pm

Hello campers,

Here are the Green/Blue camp daily schedule and details...

Happy Feet:
If you are travelling a long distance to camp (driving, flying, or both) we highly recommend that you wear compression socks for the journey and for your first day or two at camp. Travelling often leads to swelling of the feet, creating a lot of discomfort for the first few days in your ski boots. Wearing compression socks is even more important if you are planning to buy boots or have boot fitting done at camp. You can wear compression hose or special compression ski socks.

Lift tickets:
If you are getting group-rate tickets through us, then we will have those tickets on the first morning of camp, and we will bill you for those tickets at the end of the camp.
$210/5 days (adults)
Approx. $185/5 days (ages 61-69)
Approx. $45/5 days (ages 70+)
You need to fill out a quick form on our web site to let us know which tickets you want. We will send you the link to that form early in the new year.

Payment:
If you get a footbed and/or alignment installation, they will go on a master bill, along with group lift tickets and incidental expenses (such as books or DVDs purchased during camp). We will run a tab for you for the whole week so that we only have to process one charge. Friday morning we will have a final bill for you. You can pay by check at that time. If you wish to pay by credit card, we will email an invoice to you that you can pay online.

Alignment/Equipment “pre-day” before camp:
If you are arriving early for camp and wish to have your indoor alignment session done prior to camp, we do have openings at our Dumont Ski Shop (halfway between the Denver airport and Granby Ranch; you need to have a car) on Friday - Sunday, Feb. 5-7. Please call us at 303-567-0679 or send us an e-mail by Feb. 1 if you wish to schedule an appointment. We’ll contact you to confirm the time.

Meeting place in lodge:
The Granby Ranch base lodge is a 2-story building. The cafeteria is on the second floor, and there is a large stone fireplace at one end of the seating area. We’ll plan to meet in this vicinity each morning, as well as eating lunch and watching video here.

Your coach:
Your coach is your central information contact - the “go-to” person for scheduling, questions, etc. Do you have any special desires that you'd like to cover during camp? Tell your coach early on the first day. Wondering what time to watch video? Ask your coach.

Video:
Video is performed on a weather-permitting basis. If it’s snowing hard, we will not video. You will watch video with your coach at lunch, once skiing is over.

Late Arrivals:
If you arrive late on the first day of camp, please come outside to the base of the Quick Draw Express lift and wait until one of the Harb camp coaches skis down. Flag us and we’ll get you into a group.
