Hey Jim
I'll be at Killington same dates as you... Dec 14-17. I'd like to try to meet up with you. I've been trying to figure out this pmts by myself for a couple of years now. It would be very helpful to talk and ski with people who have actual experience with the system. I'm basically an intermediate level skier who really wants to get better so I'd love to take you up on your invitation.

Hi Jim
Very tempting
Jim and I are heading to Summit county that same time frame to do the same "prep" for winter skiing and January camp.
Wishing thoughts of good weather for either natural or good man made snow for you and the gang.

Last year on the east coast was such a bomb.
Hoping we get better this year.

Jim,

I'm not sure of my calendar yet, but if I can break loose then I'll be there. It'd be nice to have an extra pair of eyes to catch the bad habits that return to my skiing after summer break.

Give my best to Lorie.

I might be able to make it down for a day again this year, especially if Smuggs and Jay aren't in reasonable shape by then. I guess I'll see what the weather and my vacation schedule bring.

Thanks everyone for contacting me, once the weather looks good I will set up a place to meet with Lorie and I each day. We typically start each day in the Snowshed lodge each morning. I will post times and contact information.

Jim,

I may be able to join you too. Have to check Michael's work schedule, but I may be between jobs and have some free time.

Think snow!

Hi Jim,

If there is decent man made snow, then I will make an effort to join you.
It will have to be a day trip for me though due to family obligations.
It would be a good thing to meet others working on the movements since I missed out on
registering for a camp this year.

Best,
David

It's snowing in VT!!! ... and NH!... and ME!... and Quebec! On doppler radar right now... flakes above Stowe, Jay, the Presidentials, Sugarloaf, Tremblant...

It's just the backside of a weak storm that brought mostly rain.

The ground's still too warm for it to stick.

It may be only upper atmosphere snow that barely reaches the ground.

But it's snowing, which is more than we easterners could say nearly any time last season.

Stoked!

PMTS posse at Killington next week

Postby ToddW » Wed Dec 07, 2016 8:22 pm

I plan to be at Killington at least Wednesday and Thursday next week, and I hope to meet some new PMTS folks at the gathering. If you're sitting on the fence undecided, pack your skis and drive on up to Vermont next week!

Like Lorie and Jim, I've been to PMTS camps and I've had the good fortune to ski with both Diana and Harald. If you're so inclined, I can share what I've learned from them.

Killington has had a good amount of natural snow the last week and they have great snowmaking temps in the forecast.

Todd,
Great to have you come to Killington look foward skiing with you. My wife Lorie and I also have a passion for PMTS and have been to two Camps and had both Harald and Dianna as coaches as well as other great coaches. We are both taking the short turn camp this winter. I have a great passion for PMTS and teaching skiing and will be bring my video equipment to the mountain to get video of anyone who comes to ski with us. We would love to ski with others that have a passion for PMTS.
