No Snow

No Snow

Postby jbotti » Wed Nov 16, 2016 2:25 pm

Men's Lake Louise just got cancelled due to lack of snow. Hopefully Killington can pull this one off with some cooler temps. This is definitely the weakest early season I can remember. Only place that has snow now is Europe (after a total disaster last year).

Hearing the lack of snow is Trump related. Can't confirm yet but that seems to be the word :D

Killington passed snow control today. The women's WC races will take place as scheduled.

FIS made a good call when they greenlighted the Killington event. Snowed there overnight and it's still snowing, which should ensure a good base. It even snowed at my house in CT.

Cold temps are due to hold most of the week. The Killington crew should have good conditions to prep the course.
