For those that like to watch and or DVR the races, the 2016/17 WC season starts on Oct 22 in Solden with GS races on both Sat 10/22 and Sunday 10/23.

Has anyone found a World Cup Alpine Skiing online video source, for non cable subscribers, in the USA, this year, to watch the Word Cup Races? I miss the subscription internet service that used to be available.

It says here that all the events listed as "Streaming" can be seen at nbcsports.com/live:
http://www.nbcsports.com/olympic-sports-schedule
If you search for "FIS World Cup" you'll see all the WC skiing they broadcast (there's a lot); most of them are listed as "Streaming," though some are at inconvenient times.
What I don't know is whether you need a cable subscription to view nbcsports.com/live

The Universal and NBC services I have found, require a cable subscription. Universal used to be available with an internet service that I would subscribe to for the season, I forgot the services name.

Thanks for the link. Lara Gut was simply dominating. Even at bib #2, it was clear her run would be tough to match... and no one did.

Many beautiful transitions... clean, lightning quick edge changes. Kept her skis gliding forward almost the entire run. The few times she lost edge grip and slid sideways were instantly controlled, very snappy pulling her feet back and getting her skis back on line. She never looked out of balance... very effective movements.

The other skiers... well... looked like they didn't belong on the same course with Gut. Defensive, off balance, rotational movements and tons of skidding.

I'm not qualified to critique WC skiing, but to me Gut's skiing looked closest to PMTS. The others... not so much.
