Wengen

Wengen

Postby jbotti » Sat Jan 17, 2015 4:18 pm

Some really great skiing to watch today at Wengen which is one of the great slalom hills. Hirscher straddled a gate in the first run so it is the best of the rest. Brutal conditions as the course got rutted up. Pinterault's second run was truly amazing. More great skiing from Stefano Gross and Felix.

I will look for some Youtube links. I watched in Universal Sports.

I thought that JP Grange's second run was also stellar. It was the way I remember him skiing back when he was invincible.

I agree. It may have been his best skiing in years.

So far that's all I can find.

Gross and Pinturault's runs were amazing to watch. Pinturault for this amazing recoveries and athletic ability. They still don't have those Head boots set up right, all the Head boots in slalom look weak.
