Where can I find FIS Races in US online?

Where can I find FIS Races in US online?

Postby kirtland » Fri Dec 05, 2014 4:20 pm

Dish World/Universal Sports apparently is not covering races in US. At least they did not last year or this year. Does anybody know of an alternative service, that makes them available to a US audience? My searches come up only with last years races.

This should help:

http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2014 ... 1126nbc01/

Audi Birds of Prey Beaver Creek, CO 12/5/2014 NBCSN 10:30 PM
Audi Birds of Prey Beaver Creek, CO 12/6/2014 NBC 5:00 PM
Audi Birds of Prey Beaver Creek, CO 12/7/2014 NBC 5:00 PM

EDIT:
Here's the direct link for USN/NBC's upcoming coverage of the World Championships at Beaver Creek:
http://universalsports.com/2014/11/26/2 ... -schedule/
And here's the overall schedule, which includes a link on which you can click for live online viewing:

Thanks for the response. As you can see from the Universal Sports Link you posted, they do not do the Us Races. The NBC link did not work it said see my cable provider, which I will have to do tomorrow during office hours.
Do you know if NBC can be watched anytime or only during the hours they have listed?

All I can tell you is that nearly all US races are being broadcast on NBC, and that USN is additionally rebroadcasting the World Championship races, and that, according to http://ussa.org/news/record-coverage-new-broadcast-plan, everything that airs on NBC and USN is supposed to be live streamed as well:

"Live from Vail/Beaver Creek: Highlighting the partnership is a record 30 hours of live coverage across the three networks for the 2015 Audi FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, including live coverage of every event for the first time in history. The coverage will showcase U.S. Ski Team Olympic champions like Ted Ligety, Bode Miller, Julia Mancuso, Mikaela Shiffrin and Lindsey Vonn.
Live Streaming: NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices and tablets – will stream all programming that airs on NBC and NBCSN as well as select events not airing live on NBC or NBCSN. UniversalSports.com will live stream all programming that airs on Universal Sports in addition to other select USSA events."

I don't know whether they will post videos of the races that you can watch at your convenience.

Theorist,
Thanks. Took me awhile to find out the problem is with the online service my cable provider is using. The cable techs could not get NBCSN online either. Wasted time dealing with more technology that does not work.

Yeah, that's why I generally avoid messing with online broadcasts, if I can. I find it far simpler and more reliable to record the TV broadcast on my DVR (plus this allows me to play it back frame-by-frame). [I'm guessing the TV option is not available to you, otherwise you'd be doing the same.]
