And high heels to boot, not a good training device, shortens the achilles.

High heels on the coffee table... even worse.

I'd say the ramp angle is too steep on that setup.

Don't allow other factors to distract from detail. This is not ramp angle (delta), it is zeppa.

Regardless of the zeppa or ramp her legs look pretty good "alignment wise" at least from my angle.

Lindsey Vonn is beautiful, and she is also a great athlete and skier. I note concerns about her skiing alignment problems.
This photo would be a great introduction into a tutorial about skiing and biomechanics, alignment, boot fitting, body position, CG etcetc.
At least there might be the opportunity to get attention.
I agree at least from this angle her legs look well aligned.

So?

1. the more the foot is plantar flexed, the less it is able to supinate and pronate. What lessons are there in this, I ask myself.
2. The more zeppa and delta, the more knee flexion there will need to be to maintain balance ( esp in this case no ski boot cuff, and a short base of support ) I say to myself.
3. ....................... etc - how many more can I think of?

I think PMTS is fantastic; this is one way to increase appeal.

Come on Art!!!

If there is more than one coffee table in the quiver, then it gets too hard. Better to shim the heels.

There are many options for getting Lindsey set up effectively, so far it looks like only the ones that don't work are being used.

Here's some video of Vonn's recent GS training. Alignment looks just like the previous pictures...

This is weak, and dangerous. She is just cruising.
