It has been a very warm winter in Europe. When the olympics started they had not thought of how much salt they would need. They had to charter a plane from Switzerland with 24 tons of salt. The first events had too little salt.

True! I skied in Austria last week and there it was also way too warm. I sometimes thought I was waterskiing

You have got to go up high to the glaciers this time of year, especially this year.

Normally we don't have to go that far this time of year. But this year is different. These were the worst snow conditions we had in 25+ years at the same resort. Hopefully, next year it will be a proper winter again.
