Mikey your training really paid off, you can see more than the world cup boot technicians, I wish you were still with us. DO you want a winter job? We are moving to a new building this spring.

Anyone with a truck or a strong back, can join in to help us move. We will be at the Dumont exit where the Culture of Speed guys used to be.

Away from the pot factory and closer to the off ramp where everyone goes through to get to the Starbucks. closer to home also, walk to the post office. The huge sign in front of the building will be totally visible from the Highway.much more opportunity for a summer business as well.

Way to go off into the sunset, Bode. It was not "pretty," but, BRONZE it is! :D

Congrats to Andy for the silver. Maybe he should train for 4 years and then only come out for the Olympics. Funny track record!

I'm sure Hirscher will leave Sochi disappointed. Silver in Slalom and off the podium in GS. For the best skier in the world that is a disappointment. Although the Americans didn't have a huge haul (especially with Vonn out), both Ligety and Schiffren came and got the job done with Gold in the events they dominate. Congrats to them both. Clearly not that easy to come and get gold.

Having said that, I for one will be thrilled to see the WC skiers move to a different hill. Conditions just blew and in hindsight you wonder how they ever got a WINTER Olympics at this site.

Disappointing for Marcel Hirscher... but I'm thrilled for Matt.

Here's an athlete who totally resurrected his technique from narrow stance, to wide stance, back to narrow stance. And he turns 35 in April...!

I think this is the oldest age to win a Men's Slalom Gold in the Olympics. Let's hear it for the "seasoned" guys!

Mario accomplished what Bode set out to do.. -- without all the fanfare and NBC profile packaging. :P

What a way to finish what is most likely his last Olympics!

Just finished watching the Men's slalom. Ante Kostelic should lose his course setting license for that, especially in those conditions. To settle an Olympic Gold medal? Terrible.

Hopefully the next Winter Olympics will be held where they actually have Winter!

I disagree completely with your first remark. I hope the course-setter of the first run will never set a course again! This was waaayyy toooo easy. Most of the skiers who went out in the second run went out because they took too much risks to get to the time of Zampa, Dopfer, Kristofferson and Hirscher. Look at the time of Matt in the second run: a second slower compared to Hirscher. But this was only because he took the safe route, just like Ligety did in the second run of the GS.

I do agree with you last remark: the Winter Olympics should be held in winter, not spring!
