Truly impressive work from the Shiffrin on a course that was visibly degraded by the time she ran.

It was a gutsy and very determined skiing by Schiffrin, but not pretty. Schild and her sister skied better, but not as fast. Kirschgasser was off the fastest run by 0.01 in the second run. The French girl skied best. As usual Lewis is way off on the commentary He lies to say that leaning on the inside hand is a Swedish technique, 4 Swedish girls were not leaning in, one was leaning in badly. So as he continues to say leaning in is a Swedish Technique. I disagree, to me they are trying to get away from it. What would Stenmark say if he heard Doug Lewis saying that leaning in is a Swedish Technique. I think Doug might want to re-think his talk before Stenmark punches his lights out.
