Shiffy!

Starting the second run from fourth, over a second behind Maze, with victory looking almost impossible, she blistered the bottom of the course and absolutely crushed the field.

Unbelievable. Where does she go from here? She sure has set her bar high.

Schild will be back? So it's not going to be a free ride the whole way. I've said this before, Schiffrin is the best in slalom now, but this is the real lull in women's slalom skiing.

Shiffrin was brilliant on the lower half of the 2nd run.

And she still gave up some time in that run with her hesitation on releases and in transitions. Maze in not a top slalom skier, so I'm not surprised Shiff could make up the time.

I still want to ski like Tina.

Incredible race, Ferrari has it going on this year. But no one can beat Kimi. I stayed up until 2:30am to watch. The Lotus looked glued down, like the Red Bull last year.
