Hi everyone!
I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions on the following skis -- recommended by Harald himself here …

Perhaps there are even other skis to look at? Dynastar and Elan have been mentioned in some older posts, but I’m not sure if the models have changed. And if so, which model would be best?

Just a bit about myself.
I ski in the Austrian Alps.
I’m 186 cm (about 6’1”), and weight about 69 kg. Tall and skinny
The last 4 years I’ve skied the Volkl Deacon 84 @ 177 cm along with the Technica Mach 2 boot.
I’m questioning, however, whether these skis are the best to learn PMTS on. For one, I find it tricky to really put them on high edge, unless I ski really fast. But fast isn’t what I always like.
I’ve been a student of PMTS for several years and have used the Anyone Can Become an Expert Skier 1 + 2 book and videos, The Essentials 1-3 book and videos, the “Freeskiing” DVD, “Indoor Exercises” DVD, plus a ton of the YouTube videos.
I’m no expert at all, but I ski parallel most of the time. And there’s lots to learn still.
I also ski tour and use the Kaestle TX93 in 177cm with Technica Zero G Pro.
Hope someone can chime in with suggestions skis, ski length, and boots.
Many thanks for the input!
Cheers,
John
