Extra rivets in medial and lateral sides through cuff

To make the boot a bit stiffer. The boot already has the bolts along the back spine installed.

I don't think that's going to stiffen the boot fore aft. It might stiffen the lateral stiffness, but its unlikely that you need the boot to be laterally stiffer. You could add a third bolt to the back which will stiffen it some. Personally I don't like the way Head boots ski with 2 (or 3) bolts in the back. I like going up a grade in stiffness better. If you can fit into the WR 1 or 2 I think that will be a better solution.

A lot of a boots stiffness comes from the lower... Riveting the side of the cuff is changing the flex point geometry of the boot... which should be aligned with your foot. I'd find a stiffer shell and start building with that if you think you need something stiffer. Surprised to hear that a Raptor 140 isn't stiff enough though, but I don't think that is the true plug (92-3mm last), so go with Botti's suggestion and start fresh with a proper boot with thick plastic.
