Shorter body => shorter poles

I wanted to give my wife's old poles to a friend as she can no longer ski. I pulled them out of a basement corner and, for some reason, turned them upside down and checked them for size. They were perfect. although she's 4" shorter. And I realized: I'm 80; once I was 6', now I'm 5'7". So my poles should be shorter.
