That sounds about right. This years version no longer has the amphibio. Hopefully they keep them that way.

I think 2012-2013 was the last season of the pre-amphibio model I like. I haven't tried this seasons.

--Head iSL RD 165 (old)
--Head iSL 170 (2016)
--Head iSL 170 (old)
--Head iSpeed 170 (old)
--Head iGS RD 188 30m (2017)
--Movement Jam 173

165 cm Head iSL RD was my go to ski this season as it was effectively my rock and ice ski. I stuck a 4 degree side-edge bevel on it and it was great! I hadn't been on it in years, but as it turns out, I really enjoyed skiing this all mountain as well. I'm going to pick up a new pair of these next season. For this season, I'll probably move to a 170 cm Head iSL as my daily driver once I get back on snow. I have a new 2016-2017 version of that ski (first year with graphene). My older one wore out in November of this year. New in the quiver is the iGS RD for those days when I just want to get my GS on and rip around. The Jams almost never see action--I typically won't break them out unless there is more than 10-12" of fresh. The iSpeed has been fun, but it is getting close to worn out and I'm no longer storing skis in two places. If I were to replace it, I'd probably get a Dynastar SpeedZone 14 (which is a super fun ski), but there is probably too much overlap with my slalom skis to really warrant doing that. Generally I find that a slalom ski is the perfect all mountain ski for almost any day in Northern Colorado.

Pre Amphibio Elan SLX 170cm
Blossom White Out 176cm
15-16 generation of the Head Monster 88 177cm
Head RnR 180cm

I could manage with just the SLX and RnR but there are times the SLX is too narrow and the RnR is too wide and I like having options because the PNW snow can be all over the map.

I do have fatter skis but they are for wet heavy snow on very deep days (more than 2 feet) and haven't been used in years.

How often are you on the whiteouts?

2014-2015 Head SS iSpeed, 170cm
2007-2008 Head Xenon 7.0, 170cm

The Xenons are only used now for end of season skiing. Both sets of skis are tuned to 0.5/3.

In addition to the following, I have a few pairs of race skis that have gone unused the past couple years:

Head Monster im78, 177 - lowish snow days
Head RnR, 180 - most days
Movement Shift, 185 - touring (should've bought the 180)

I've been skiing a mountain the past several years that gets a good amount of snow, but it mostly gets blown into the trees, so that's where I spend most of my time. This has been bad for my technique and good for my mood, and also encourages me to ski my RnR's a lot, for the help they provide with tighter turns in deeper snow. I'm considering adding something in the 105-110 range for occasional use too, but haven't found anything that seems quite right to me for what I want there yet.

Update since 2018
177cm Dynastar speed course TI- most well rounded carver I have ever owned
182 Speed zone 14 with rockerflex binding-Starting to love this one almost as much as my Speed Course.
179cm Nordica navigator 85 - For the seldom soft snow days and occasional tree skiing. Lot of fun, they carve pretty well too.

I'm surprised at how many of us are skiing the SLX. Great ski but I didn't know it was this widespread.

Interesting thread.
Blizzard S-Power Ti 174 [really neat 13M,versitile and smooth]
Stockli Laser SL 170 [Non FIS with 14.5 TR] A real ripping ski, set up with Marker Piston Plates.
Head Premier 177 [I understand its a bad PMTS ski, to stiff.....but I'm 280] BTW, its the Supershape Speed.
Stockli Laser SC 177 [Is what it is]
Stockli Delta Scale 177 [All mountain, bought them to cheap to pass up]
Stockli Laser AX 183 [Newer Turtle Shell stuff]
Stockli Laser GS 185 [19.4 TR Cheater GS]
I admit to the overlap, I am fortunate enough to get out a lot and they all get used.

That is one ski I wish I had bought.

I think Geoffda may have an unloved pair.

SLX is a fun ski that just works. I know people who still look for the pre- amphibio version. I know they dropped amphibio for the SLX and GSX this year, but I have not seen or had a chance to try the new SLX and compare it to mine.

Have you tried any of the Curv series yet? I demoed the 72mm waist and 80mm waist versions and they were both excellent carvers. I also tried the Dynastar Speedzone ti12 in a 174cm and it was also very good.
