So i bought this ski for 200 bucks. Never had a base grind, used for ~20 ski days. Did a get a good deal? I know you guys like Supershapes, but have any of you tried this one? Is it a good pmts ski? If not, can i make my money back?

I owned the same ski in a 177. If I could find another, I would buy it again. I prefer it to the newer versions. More versatile, less demanding. Most PMTSer's prefer a sub 70mm waist for doing drills and tipping exercises. But these days, a 71mm waist ski is considered pretty narrow. But it's a great do it all ski for most conditions.

Thanks Max for googling that for me! But I already thought of that and found nothing explicitly regarding this exact ski. There is a lot of talk about magnums, but no specific post implying that it is in fact the exact ski in question. I could guess based on the date of the posts but I wanted to be more accurate...which is why I created this thread. Have you tried this ski Max?

I understand that you are new to the forum so you may not be aware that all versions of the SS Magnum skis have been discussed previously. The information you seek regarding PMTS use of this ski is in the google search results above.

Did you get a good deal? The answer depends on the condition of the ski. After accessing the condition of a used ski I search ebay to see what similar skis are selling for as a guide on value.
