Hi Chris,

Not sure what your background is, but in case you aren't familiar with carvers it is worth mentioning that most skiers (and that includes PMTS skiers) won't be able to make the Comp model turn. They will only respond to continuous tipping; just putting them on edge does nothing. They also require higher speeds to perform. The Comps would be a good choice if you would be considered an elite skier by PMTS standards and you have enough previous carver or roller-blade experience that you will be comfortable generating the speeds and angles necessary to make the comps perform. If you have any question about meeting either of these criteria, I'd recommend buying Kirtland's Pro setup. The Pro is much more accessible while still offering plenty of performance.

Hi Kirt,
I have a pair of harb carvers (pro model) and I harb carve regularly...
I was hoping to find a pair of the comp model...
I wasn't sure that your harb carvers were comp or pro...
And then when you told me... I was thinking it might be cool to have a 2nd pair for a friend...
Anyway, thanks for your good advice. (And it's true, your modified pair look good !)
Cheers and thanks again...
