Sporten skis

Postby Skizoo » Tue Apr 08, 2014 6:38 pm

I was in Harald's shop today and saw they had a pair of Sporten skis. I didn't have a chance to get much info on them from Greg other than they are a Czech made ski. Looking at their website, seems they make a lot of carving skis. Anyone know anything about them?

Yes, I had the same query. The sporten skis are remarkably cheap and are older pairs are available here in Scotland. I thought it might be a relatively inexpensive way of having a one quiver ski. I haven't heard any bad reports.

I was talking to Chris at HSS yesterday about these. He said he got out on them a few days ago and really liked them. I'm not sure of which model they have in the shop but it's a slalom ski in a 165. Chris told me he thought there were some similarities with the original supershape and it is a good ski.
