Women's Powder Ski Suggestions

Postby CO_Steve » Mon Feb 10, 2014 1:59 pm

With all the snow CO has been getting my wife has decided she hates all of her wider skis and is looking for something new. She has been to camp twice and skis a 163 Mya 7 as her everyday ski. Not looking for a full on pow ski, just something mid 80 to mid 90 that will work better on fresh sow days. She was using a Kastle FX-84 in this role but has decided she hates that ski. I have no clue as she's decided she wants a women's specific ski. Any ideas?

Does she know that her 163 Mya 7 is nothing more than a slightly improved and rebadged version of the TT80 (a mens ski). This is true of many of the Head women's specific skis over the years.

Best ski for the money:

Are we trying to apply logic here?

I thought of a shorter pair of RnRs. I have the 180. I'll see if I can sell that.

I just bought pair of RNR's for my wife in the 166cm length. I can't imagine finding a better ski for her for fresh snow. Plus I'm sure she feels younger with the Motorhead graphics

Good thing we only ski them on deep days where they can hide out of sight.
