Saw these at a shop in Tahoe. Interesting idea. Any PMTS thoughts about them?

This is like skiing in your UGG Boots! 
I can't imagine this would promote any kind of foot tipping or ankle movement... Incidentally, this is the same issue many alpine snowboard racers have when they switch to soft snowboard boots. I other words, no, these won't work for PMTS.
