I think the Stereo skis are worth looking into. I skied both their recreational slalom carver as well as their cheater GS ski. HSS is carrying some Stereo skis this year. I ordered a pair of the cheater GS skis that both Diana and I think are fantastic. I already have a bunch of slalom carvers the Head eRace Pro in a 170 is my every day slalom carver (great ski).

Here is my review of the Race Carve RC (slalom carver):

The only other ski that comes to mind and I have not skied it yet is the Peak 78. This is Bode Miller's ski company. I skied the Peak 88 which is a nice ski and if the 78 has similar characteristics it will likely be a nice ski.

I just spent 2 days riding the Original+ 6x - the same one that Reilly, Benni Walch and Geri Tumbasz use…

Here’s Reilly on it:

Geri:

Hands down, the best ski I have ever ridden..

John,

Have you skied the new 2025 Enforcer 94 or Head Core 93? If you have… your thoughts?
Thx
Mike

Mikey, I have never skied the Nordica Enforcer 94. I have skied a few different iterations of the Kores (the first version of the 93 and later versions of the 97,105 and 115). They all ski pretty similar. They are easy to ski, easy to maneuver and pivot (when one needs to), they respond to tipping, but the tip rocker makes it hard to get forward. They will however turn nicely from tipping from that mid position (vs being forward). They ski quite short for the stated length (running length on hard snow is way shorter than the stated length due to the rocker). They are very light in weight.

For what I call rocker 2.0 or 3.0 they are decent skis and one could do way worse. Ease of use is very strong just don't expect to arc HH turns with big rebound on the groomers as you head back to the lift. I think of them as powder skis even in 93mm width and they certainly are user friendly off piste skis in a variety of conditions.

Here is the review of the 93 I put up several years ago. The skis have not changed all that much since then.

I also think a lot depends on the skier. If you are a PMTS expert skier, you won't get everything you want and need out of this ski. For someone who is developing PMTS skills and wants a friendly off piste ski for pow and other conditions, one could do a lot worse. But for those in this category, remember skis with this much tail rocker tend to encourage pivoting, which we generally try to avoid (unless absolutely necessary) in PMTS.

John,

Thank you.

Been searching a bit for an off piste/powder ski PMTS friendly… something for when the snow a bit deeper. My everyday is Blossom AM77.

Thx for your time and input.

Cheers,

Mike

I rode the chair with a guy yesterday who had the Kores. Thought of you!

They look flimsy. Like they'd bounce around. I'm happy being in the full camber to early rise crowd.

I'm not against the banana skis, quite the opposite. I'm for anything that makes my ski day better. But my White Outs are fine. I'm on my last pair of Peak 84's, they have more days. I have a pair of Venturis that are great, have plenty of days left. I'll be looking to score the Titans per my other comment. I have a pair of e-Originals. Seems like I got it covered.

I'll just keep on following along here, talking to Diana. If another Rock N Roll comes out, or some other must have ski comes out, surely you'll tell us about it! So take care of yourself, I'm depending on you!
