Please can someone confirm the 2018 Head B2 is the exact same ski boot as the 2017 version ?

Exact might be tough but the design of the boot has not changed. When Head went from Red colored RD boots to white ones HH and Diana noticed a significant difference in stiffness (the Reds were quite a bit stiffer) but the design of the boot was the same. The modified the RD line a few years ago and it has remained since then. They make minor modifications at times without touching the last mold (newer different buckles, booster strap mods etc). These really have nothing to do with how the boot will ski. I do not know what mods were done between 16-17 model and the 17-18 model but the last has not changed.

This season's (17-18) raptor b2 is identical to the last few seasons' b2 except for cosmetic differences. Diana at Harb Ski Systems confirmed this for me last week.

(I'm looking to replace a 2013-14 pair by early next season when it will have 300+ days on snow. 2013-14 through present models basically ski the same.)

You are only averaging about 60 ski days per year. I expected more from a man of your stature :D

All joking aside that's impressive!!

Maybe you can convince Max501 to get new boots. He's at 700+ days on his Dobie's. Amazing that they haven't cracked yet.

Yeah, I've been slacking off. Also got hit by a knee injury and a bad snow year. But I'll make it up.

This season's off to a slow start; I've only gotten 3 days on snow. I flew out to Denver last Wed on what turned out to be Killington's opening day  I was surprised to see about 70% snowboarders; snowboarding is a dying sport back East.
