What are you...

...thinking about?

What's the trigger you're using to dial that extra little bit of exactness to your skiing?

I'm keeping my knuckles up; the baskets in front of the heel and gently touching the pole tips to the surface; rock solid upper body frame. I like it.

You?

Depends on what's happening

Really sinking into a turn at speed.

Rhytmic pole plants doing short radius poppers on the steeps.

Carving with strong arm.

Racer turns, in the classic "A" position, aggressive and low.

Hey! In ALL cases, the key ingredient is aggressiveness!

I'd never have thought I ski like that! Now there's a revelation!

Like Erik said, it depends, but the most common for me are:

* edges - keeping same amount of edge angle on both skis, particularly focusing on the free ski
* releases - if super phantom, focus on early transfer of weight to little toe edge of inside ski; if weighted release, focus on using the "rebound" of the previous turn
* hands/poles - Planting, pushing forward, not letting drop down
* stable, countered upper body

Keeping the ankles flexed and the strong arm help keep me out of trouble.
