Are my skis holding me back?

I trust you mean C260i, right? This is being advertised as a succsessor to very popular and praised model iC160. You'll find many positive reviews on that one, but same goes for XRC800. But not for 240 - I believe they are considered more as an beginner's model.

Recently I purchased C270i, which is a hybrid of 260 and 280 (same sidecut as 260, same technology as 280 - titanium jacket etc.) I noticed really great improvement over my old "intermediate" (really beginner's) skis. These are much stiffer, but still easier to turn, because of the smaller radius. I also found they grip very well on ice (I never slipped unexpectedly) and keep well in crud. My understanding is that for proper improvement you'll need narrow skis (which they are) with small radius (more or less - 14.7 m). All in all I experienced significant improvement on my new skis (practising releases, ballancing on all edges, super-phantom, banana and even weighted release drills).
