Get a good wax for early season, that snow is aggressive so you want a hard wax, if it's dried well, some graphite/moly in it won't hurt, otherwise an LF wax will help in many conditions.

Other ways to use the slow greens is to work on one footed balance, most critical - on all 4 edges - bewteen phantoms and banana turns, that would keep me busy if I had just greens...
