Yes Diana told me that one. It's an easy external cue to remember and one you get immediate validation of.

I think the intention of this post is clear, but maybe better written as "This in turn would imply that one should be easily able to balance over the outside ski during the turn"
There are endless discussions elsewhere about balance, COM, BOS that elucidate how this works in skiing - many inaccurate, and many while technically accurate not describing good technique.
HH talks about balance in ACBAES1 page 8 ie very early on.
