Kudos to the skier in blue and black. That's a ginormous change!

(The guy in blue and yellow's looking okay too ;-) )

Is this the lift-ticket-hanging from-the-R-hip to the snow drill?

It's actually the way to measure your inside knee angle to the snow. That's how you can tell if the angles are real, valid and your technique is working. The outside knee is a worthless way to evaluate without it.

Does equipment make a difference?

Everything makes a difference, the boot liner, your socks, your boots, your footbeds, your skis, your tune, your cuffs, your canting and your movements.

Assuming you haven't changed your setup since your last alignment check/ adjust..how long would you leave it before rechecking & adjusting?

So true. Thanks to HSS plus a few post-camp tweaks, my boots are really dialed in. I'm now skiing in just the thinnest of silk sock liners. The only thing thinner would be nylons, or nothing.

The fit is such that a single twist on a buckle makes the difference between instant response to tipping and over-tightened.

Now if I could just get those movements...

Tom has made great strides like Reilly with PMTS, and my alignment advice, totally changed his skiing and now he's performing.

It's great to see Tom using PMTS and skiing so well.

I went to a workshop he gave several years ago and he was a big toe dominant skier with an extension. I think his training was with the CSIA. It was a shame because he was a talented athlete.

Now his alignment and his skiing has improved out of sight.

I've been watching Tom for the past two seasons.
What is roughly the time difference between the first and second image?

I have before and after photos of both Reilly and Tom from Wehn I started helping them, it's dramatic. Both are very good athletes, that helps. But the boots and technique definitely were way off the mark.
